This page explains how we process the personal data of people who visit the BORDERLINE website or contact us about a project.
The controller of personal data collected through borderline.pt is SURPRESORIGINAL, LDA, tax number 510807542, with its registered office at Rua São Francisco de Assis 11, Galiza, 2640-250 Encarnação, Portugal. For privacy enquiries or to exercise your rights, email info@borderline.pt.
When you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp to request information or a quote, we may process your name, business contact details, company and any information included in your enquiry. We use this to respond, prepare proposals, manage our business relationship and meet legal obligations. The legal basis depends on the context: steps prior to entering a contract or performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and protecting the website. Please do not include sensitive data in a quote request.
The website stores your cookie choice using a necessary cookie called cookieadmin_consent. The configuration requests a new choice after 365 days; during the website check, this cookie was identified as a session cookie. If you accept the analytics category, Google Analytics may use cookies in the _ga family, lasting up to 400 days. Analytics measurement depends on your choice in the cookie notice. You can accept, reject or change your preferences using the cookie icon on the website.
For statistics, we use Google Analytics only when the analytics category is accepted. The contact page includes a Google Maps map, blocked until you accept the “Advertising” category in the cookie manager; the current check did not identify cookies in that category. Links to WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram lead to external platforms governed by their own policies. Hosting, email and technical support providers may process data as necessary to deliver their services. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In these cases, we assess the applicable transfer mechanisms, and you can ask us about the safeguards used.
We retain contact enquiries and proposals only for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on the enquiry or business relationship, unless the law requires a longer period or records are needed to establish or defend rights. Contract and invoicing data are retained for the applicable statutory periods. We retain records of cookie choices for as long as needed to demonstrate and respect those choices.
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data and object to processing where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. To exercise these rights, contact info@borderline.pt. You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD).
We take appropriate measures to protect data against unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. We review this policy when the website’s services, providers or processing practices change. Last reviewed: 23 September 2026.
